At today’s First Course, we shared a winning formula for your email marketing game plan…
During our presentation, we discussed the idea that your email subject lines could be getting you into foul trouble with the SPAM and Phish referees.
- Using ALL CAPS in your email subject line is just like yelling at a referee, which could draw a quick technical foul.
- Using words like “buy” or “buy now” at the beginning of your subject line also might draw a quick foul.
A few weeks ago, we ran across an excellent list of words that could get your email subject lines into trouble when it comes to sending emails to your customers or clients.
You can check out the entire list here.
Have you ever been guilty of committing one of these email marketing subject line fouls?
