Embodying the perfect mix of organizational skills, a creative spirit, and a passion for marketing, Sarah Patterson joins Green Apple Strategy as Account Manager, rounding out a solid team of experienced marketing professionals. , Sarah will work directly with clients, making sure their project needs are met with the highest expectations and within a timely manner.
A Chattanooga, Tennessee, native, Sarah attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville as an Art major. After spending a few semesters taking different courses that piqued her interests and completing a PR internship with the UT Office of Government, Sarah switched to an Advertising major and graduated with a degree in Public Relations. Upon graduation in 2010, Sarah knew she wanted a job that tapped into her creative side, so she headed to Nashville to pursue a role in marketing.
In May of 2011, Sarah settled in nicely to Music City with a Marketing Assistant role at ADS Security. Quickly recognizing her talents, it wasn’t long until ADS promoted her to Senior Marketing Coordinator. In this role, Sarah helped manage all marketing initiatives for the ADS corporate brand, as well as the company’s 22 branches throughout the Southeast. After 5 years of gaining much exposure to all aspects of marketing at ADS—social media, blogging, email marketing, advertising, graphic design, PPC campaign management, website development, event planning, lead generation, customer retention, and more—Sarah decided to take the next step in her career, connecting with Green Apple Strategy’s Samantha Pyle, through mutual contacts. Immediately after meeting Samantha, Sarah knew she wanted to work for her. Sarah says, “I am extremely excited for this opportunity and to be able to experience marketing from the agency side. Green Apple seems to be the best of both worlds, and Sam has done such a good job growing the business in a way that still ensures every client receives the attention they deserve. The passion that she and the rest of the team has for serving clients is contagious and one of the many reasons I’m already loving it here.”
As an Account Manager for Green Apple Strategy, Sarah hopes to bring creativity and a fresh perspective to the team and her accounts. Among Sarah’s goals in her new role are to become an extension of the teams she’s serving, and she believes her past experiences will be very beneficial to Green Apple clients.
In Sarah’s spare time, you can find this newlywed spending time with her husband, Matt. Sarah and Matt both love traveling, exploring new restaurants, and watching UT football. They also love animals, which led to Sarah’s most recent passion for volunteering with Metro Nashville Animal Care and Control, and she’s hoping to adopt a dog later this year. Sarah is also an aunt to two-year-old twin boys, which she describes as her favorite role yet!
